This is where it all began - our original sauna spot nestled right by the Erme Estuary, with views that'll make your soul smile. We hope you’ll agree that there’s something special about sitting in a cozy wood-fired sauna while watching the waves roll in and out below.
We got lucky finding this spot. It's tucked away next to one of South Devon's most beautiful and unspoilt beaches, making it perfect for a post-sauna dip or a peaceful walk along the shore. Whether you're here for an early session or winding down as the sun sets, the magic of this place has a way of helping you slow right down and connect with the landscape around you.
Public Sessions
Our public sauna sessions offer a chance to slow down, unwind and connect with others in a relaxed community setting. Each session lasts 1 hour and is shared with up to 8 guests.
Take your time moving between the sauna, plunge pools and fresh air, following your own rhythm throughout the session. Our sauna hosts are always nearby to welcome you, answer questions, take care of your belongings and help make your experience as enjoyable as possible.
Private sessions
Private sauna sessions are perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy the sauna in absolute tranquility. Share the experience with friends and family, or enjoy the space to yourself for meditation, quiet reflection or movement practice.
Private sessions run for 1 or 2 hours and a member of our team will be on hand at all times.

Location
We're tucked away in one of the sweetest spots in South Devon, just off the turning circle behind the School House Restaurant in Mothecombe. The sauna sits perfectly positioned with views over the Erme Estuary and quick access to the beach.

Parking: There is a car park at Mothecombe. Parking is free from October to April. From April to September, parking charges apply. Seasonal passes are available.
We encourage all guests to travel sustainably whenever possible. To help reduce traffic movements and carbon emissions, we ask visitors to consider car sharing with friends and family or other members who are visiting the sauna.

Just steps from the sauna, School House is a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant with seasonal local food and a sunny terrace. Open daily for breakfast and lunch, with pizza nights on Fridays and Saturdays. Perfect for a post-sauna bite or sunset drink.

Our newest spot sits in the heart of Dartington village, offering a different vibe. Think community buzz, pizza nights and the local pool (coming soon) all next door to our sauna - just a 30-minute drive inland from Mothecombe.
